I volunteered twice weekly through the duration of the Senate Primary race in Massachusetts, having reached undecided voters across the Commonwealth while being responsible for the encouragement of residents to be aware of when and where they were able to cast their votes. I compiled issues most important to our constituents and made sure to provide accurate information with regards to the candidate's platform, of which I helped to formulate concise statements that were used in telephone scripts.

My responsibilities included creating a warm environment for customers the moment that they entered the restaurant, recognizing any extra accommodations that may have been needed, and making sure that I was setting up the nightly reservations in a way that maximized profit for the small, busy dining space. I quickly learned the roles and tasks expected of my position that were needed to keep dining services efficient, which called for helping with minor serving duties sporadically, running food during busy nights, and organizing incoming shipments of restaurant goods.

I worked in all positions across the bakery, which required making items for customers as well as completing transactions for them. Part of my duties included making sure closing was carried out correctly and efficiently for the opening team the following morning. Within the first few months, I learned rapidly what each position was responsible for, and that enabled me to receive a fast promotion to work shifts for any counter position in the bakery. In a successful attempt to build a regular clientele, I focused on attention to detail when it came to everything from preparing meals, all the way to cleaning the machines and busy dining area.
