I have been in the oil and gas industry since June 1990 I started as cnc machinist learning multiple machine controls & centre'sFrom lathes, machining centres to horiztal borers .I then moved to the roll of manufacturing engineer where I carried out all the routing's & programming needs for a busy manufacturing plant this also covered all sub contracted machining , coating etc . My next role production scheduler . This has been a challenging and enjoyable role, a totally new concept from my last positions We set up a new planning system for the plant , which is scheduling wellhead equipment new & repair from manufacturing parts to the assembly & test of all our wellhead equipmentMy next role was as the machine shop planner at NOV Elmar . I have setup a new planning tool and with help of the rest of the team we taken this planning tool to new heights & we have still more ideas to take it even higher , really exciting time aheadMy present role of production scheduler . This will a challenging and enjoyable role, a totally new concept from my last positions We set up a new planning system for the plant , which is scheduling Nov Truck,Mast & Winch Product line
