DirectorB & R Productions 1998 - PresentB&R Productions was formed in 1998 to produce new writing and contemporary classics. Re-locating to the south coast in 2002 we have developed a significant track record providing arts consultancy and mentoring services. We work with local authorities to deliver regenerative cultural infrastructures; with businesses to support creative innovation and with writers, musicians, performers and arts leaders on a one to one basis, to support creative practice alongside organisational resilience and growth. The School Creative Centre In 2009, B&R Productions successfully negotiated and set up a sustainable business model working with East Sussex County Council, Arts Council South East and Rye College to create a vibrant studio facility providing artists’ development, education and engagement programmes and partnerships with the statutory and voluntary sector. http://ryecreativecentre.co.uk Subsequent work with Eastbourne Brough Council involved us setting up Devonshire Collective, which took over the operation of 3 retail outlets turning them into creative and community spaces. https://www.devonshirecollective.com Since 2007 Our involvement with the Jasmin Vardimon Company has created transformational organisational change: instigating the company’s move to Ashford Kent in 2012, supporting the development of an internationally acclaimed training course and increasing its international status. We were central to the development of their new, state of the art, creation and training space, opening in Autumn 2022. Working with key stakeholders, Arts Council England, Kent County Council. Ashford Borough Council and the SELEP, to develop a model, creative in its final output and economically viable for all. https://jasminvardimon.com/about-us/jvhome/ We continue to facilitate partnerships between different creative and business sectors, support arts leaders and smaller, emerging companies and we look forward to working with new clients in the coming years.

Executive DirectorJasmin Vardimon Company Jun 2007 - Mar 2023Ashford,KentSince joining forces in 2007, we have provided business and strategic support to the company, its Artistic Director and Board, developing a business model that has, over time, responded to the necessity to review the company’s reliance upon public sector support and become more entrepreneurial in its outlook. We are extremely proud to have supported Jasmin’s artistic ambition and her pursuit of Artistic excellence, whilst ensuring the company adapted to a changing and challenging cultural landscape, in particular the opening of the company’s own £7 million pound dedicated, bespoke home in Autumn 2022. This provides the company with a world class environment for the creation and delivery of her work, dedicated training spaces for the next generation of dancers, choreographers and other creatives, alongside community access to facilities that are second to none.We leave the company with anticipation for its continued development and with a strong base to build upon Jasmin’s exciting ideas We wish Jasmin and all at JVC the very best.

Project ManagersEastbourne Borough Council Apr 2016 - Jan 2017Eastbourne - East SussexIn 2016 B&R Productions were commissioned by Eastbourne Borough Council to deliver on their proposal for Devonshire Collective. With the existing Leaf Hall Community Arts Centre and Royal Hippodrome Theatre as associate venues, three empty retail units along Seaside and Seaside Road were converted into a cafe and gallery space, workshop and maker spaces and studios. B&R Productions worked closely with Eastbourne Homes and Eastbourne Borough Council to transform these spaces with additional support from Devonshire West Big Local, Locate East Sussex and Coastal Communities Fund. Devonshire Collective is now a managed entity run by Devonshire Collective CIC for further details visit devonshirecollective.co.uk or contact Programme Development Manager Amy Solis on programmer@devonshirecollective.co.ukFrom a Council perspective B&R’s role, as PM lead in delivering a complex project, was crucial to achieving a highly successful establishment and launch. We have already received very positive feedback from the community as well as local and regional stakeholders. In particular we were impressed by: · The professionalism of the project team and the ability to overcome significant challenges· Your skill in engaging with a wide community of arts practitioners and local businesses· The capacity to balance differing objectives/constraints and to work with us as a local authority to manage and deliver the vision The project is quickly becoming a key element of our regeneration work in the Devonshire Ward and I’m sure the excellent work you have done in setting it up on such a strong and sustainable basis will help this to continue into the future.
