When at school i never really knew what i wanted to do other than be around the business world. As it came to end of last year at school i still had nothing planned to do, So i undertook A levels in business for two years at college.After finishing school i got a job with a Plumbing and Heating Merchant (PTS). I started out in the warehouse where i were fork-lifting, picking goods etc.. After been there one year i got a promotion to the counter where i served customers of both trade and retail customers. After been on the counter for a year i then got promoted into the sales office. Where i looked after major contracts for big house builders, I also looked after small developers etc. After been in the office for a year a role came available as a Area Sales Manager. Which i applied for and got. Where i had a portfolio of customers to look after. My role was to get more business from my existing customers and look for new avenues for new business. After doing this role for three years i wanted a new challenge. A branch Managers role was available in Ripon, I applied internally and went back into the office. I gained lots of experience doing this role such as Managing full branch operations , and Managing a team of staff. I Managed the Ripon branch for two years. I have recently just taken on a new challenge in Managing a new branch in Selby.Inbetween this process I decided to begin my own Project, Competition Box Ltd. A very first within the App World. Competition Box allows friends through Facebook to win real cash directly on their iPhone. Thus launching in 2012 with 5 team members.
