This solution then evolved with the addition of booking functionality which could provide immediate confirmations to hotels. The progression of the internet saw the proliferation of online travel agents, which changed the way hotel inventory was distributed and created new challenges for hoteliers. I identified the opportunity to provide a single access point whereby properties could update their websites as well as information sent to online travel agents, through the singular Levart system. Additionally, we then introduced the concept of pooled inventory to the online world, whereby the elimination of specific channel inventory allocations allowed hotels to streamline their online distributions.I manage a team of employees, operating out of Western Australia and New Zealand. Started in a junior position and moved to the accounts department, occupying positions in Hobart and Melbourne as Systems Accountant and later to the position of Accountant Western Australia. I was invited to move into sales and took on the role of Sales Manager Western Australia, eventually ending up in the position of Assistant State Manager Western Australia.
