Integrations Consultant - Higher Education

Lead and manage a team of 4 consultants to effectively onboard, train, and develop newly hired consultants.Advocate on behalf of team members to ensure work life balance and efficient staffing.Develop 150+ integrations including Studios, BIRTs, CCBs, EIBs, and CCTPPs across 50+ client projects to automate data transmission between clients’ Workday tenant and vendors’ systems.Lead 20+ integration projects, providing clients with guidance and configuration fixes as well as recommending best practices.Architect 15+ integration projects to properly scope integrations and serve as point of escalation to ensure successful implementation.Advise new hires to facilitate successful onboarding, develop a base of knowledge, and ensure they are welcomed into the team.Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal functional teams to define requirements for integrations between the Workday product and other 3rd party systems.Manage integration project teams and support junior level consultants to effectively build, test, and deploy integrations according to project timeline.Build integrations according to Workday best practices to protect client data, ensure proper transport, and minimize post-production maintenance.Lead knowledge transfer sessions and create documentation to ensure clients can independently maintain integrations.Create custom transformations utilizing XSLT and Workday Studio to automate inbound and outbound data flow between clients and vendors without a Workday built template.Work extensively with Workday’s SOAP and REST APIs to get or put data efficiently.

Plan and implement configuration changes including business process updates, modifying and creating condition rules, and creating and maintaining calculated fieldsConduct research, plan timelines, and lead support efforts to successfully report pay bands, ethnicities, and hours of over 130,000 associates to the EEOCCreate an onboarding guide and overhaul process documentation to improve the experience of new team members and boost knowledge transfer across the teamDevelop relationships with business partners and gain knowledge of how they utilize Workday to advise on best use of the platformLead end user interviews to gather requirements for new requests and analyze opportunities for efficiency gains on current processes within WorkdayPartner with IS Help Desk to resolve escalated user issues and ensure Help Desk HR system documentation is current and completeCreate and execute test cases to ensure thorough testing of configuration changes Train business users on HR systems, process, and functionality

Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and other related services to keep the housing network of over 20,000 devices running effectivelyPerform preventative maintenance on hardware and server systems to minimize unexpected outagesPrepare and update documentation of current and new systems being developed, and assist in the development of training materials for those systems to instruct help desk staff on network changesLead and manage an 8 person team to install 1500 hospitality access points across 6 residence halls to improve wireless access for residents
