I lead the delivery of WHS, injury management and wellbeing strategies, programs, advice and services at the ABC, Australia's national broadcaster.• The ABC operates across 60 sites with approximately 5,000 employees.• Reporting to the Chief People Officer, I lead the health, safety and wellbeing function at the ABC to deliver strategies, programs, advice and services to assist the ABC to safely and effectively achieve its business objectives. • My role encompasses leadership of injury management and worker's compensation claims management. • Under my leadership the ABC has developed a reputation in its industry for best-in-class psychosocial risk management and injury management programs, and more than halved its workers compensation premiums to the lowest level in over a decade.• I have successfully delivered a wide range of programs to manage the ABC’s diverse safety risk profile including trauma interventions programs, our world class social media safety program for journalists (recognised by the e-Safety Commissioner), and led the ABC health, safety and wellbeing response to the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure business continuity and worker safety.

• I provided health, safety, environment (HSE) leadership and support to CBRE's facilities management team managing Charter Hall's commercial and industrial property portfolio of over 200 properties valued at over $17 billion• I achieved certification of the account's HSE system to AS/NZS 4801 and ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001• I championed HSE matters in the procurement and management of major contracts for facilities management services• I led the HSE investigations function, leading ICAM investigations of serious incidents and managing liaison with each state's HSE regulators.• I designed, championed, and implemented HSE projects to achieve breakthrough improvements in HSE system performance, outcomes and stakeholder engagement.

• I led a team of six safety professionals to achieve a 40% reduction in lost time injury rate over 4 years in an organisation of 4500 employees• I introduced State Transit’s Corporate Safety Plan and SMS site implementation plans incorporating lead indicators to establish accountability of line managers and significantly improve consistency of implementation • I managed safety audit preparations leading to State Transit’s re-accreditation as a self-insurer under Safe Work NSW’s worker’s compensation scheme (equivalent to AS4801 OHSMS).• I established StateTransit's contractor safety management program to manage safety of vehicle & infrastructure capital & maintenance works with annual spend of $7-8 million• I managed development of site traffic management plans to manage yard safety of Australia’s largest bus fleet (2100+ buses) across 14 depots • I managed the relationship with State Transit’s safety regulators, including SafeWork NSW and the Office of Transport Investigations• I managed the incident investigation function and led high level investigations for serious incidents using the ICAM methodology

• I led a team of safety professionals to develop, promote and maintain the WHS management system of RailCorp, Australia’s largest rail network with 15,000 employees• I acted as the WHS subject matter expert on major RailCorp projects and programs, participating in the development & review of safety documentation for multi-million dollar infrastructure and rolling stock projects, including the Epping-Chatswood Railway Link• I managed the review and update of RailCorp’s Safety Management System to address the WHS legislative requirements introduced in 2012• I managed safety audit preparations leading to RailCorp’s accreditation as a self-insurer under WorkCover NSW’s worker’s compensation scheme (equivalent to AS4801 OHSMS).• I managed the development of RailCorp’s OHS Risk Registers covering all employee workgroups.• I oversaw the multi-million dollar contract for provision of health assessments for rail safety

• I was the safety specialist for Australia Post NSW, which employed over 15,000 employees across more than 300 sites• I developed and implemented Australia Post’s award-winning OHS Positive Performance Indicators performance management tool, which directly contributed to a 75% reduction in lost time injury frequency rate across NSW over 10 years• I conducted OHS management system audits nationally in accordance with the Corporate Self Insurer’s license requirements and managed the external OHS audits conducted by Comcare.• I managed the workplace assessment function for RTW programs for injured workers• I led a range of safety activities, training & coaching managers in Post’s behaviour-based safety program, conducting plant risk assessments of mail processing equipment and managing ergonomic intervention programs targeting manual handling risks
