Successfully garnered support for restoring the Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) budget from 0.5% to 0.7% of Gross National Income (GNI), notably securing continued backing from MP Rosie Duffield for the “0.7% aid target” initiative.Initialised conversations and gave out in-depth explanations of the project with local communities, NGOs including Rotaract Clubs, and politicians i.e., Rosie Duffield, MP. Responsible for day-to-day communication such as scheduling regular catchups including face-to-face presentations with relevant stakeholders. Received support from 10+ organisations. Responsible for organising an online fundraising campaign to raise awareness and financial support, utilising 5+ online platforms and social media channels, (resulting in 500+ impressions in traffic and £1000 in donations).Assistant of District Councillor (Intern)District Council of Hong KongAssisting the District Councillor in serving 16,846 people in Mong Kok South District. Daily operations include handling constituent inquiries, managing casework, and organizing community events.The councils are mandated to advise the government on matters affecting the well-being of people, the provision and use of public facilities and services, and the adequacy and priorities of Government programs for the district. Initiating projects in collecting public opinion about the use of public facilities, i.e. the use of sports centres. A two-month feedback forum utilizing the local council office and Google form to collect both in-person and online feedback, targeting both elderly and young people. Resulting in collecting 2000+ feedback and sharing data with the local government. Giving free legal advice to 150+ mainly residents during the pandemic, especially for those who cannot afford legal advice, enhances the public’s understanding of their civil rights. Holding a series of public conferences for residents who have been accused of violating the Cap. 599G Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Gathering) Regulation.
