Jewel Marine traded as Parasailor SA. Parasailor SA marketed and supported the interests of ISTEC AG in South Africa. We supplied and installed Parasailor products onto sailing craft, usually cruising yachts and catamarans. We continue to train crew on its optimal use to make long cruising adventures safe even downwind with the latest sailing innovation, the Parasailor. The Parasailor is a spinnaker with a difference, allowing overpressure to vent add by so doing create a lifting force to counter the normal healing forces of a spinnaker. Senior Geologist Exploration, Africa. Worked on projects in Ghana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and of course South Africa concentrating on Base metals, Gold, Heavy mineral sands, Uranium, Patinum and reviewed all incoming mineral exploration proposals. Exploration included Deep Wits Gold, Barberton Greenstone Gold, Ghana sediment hosted and hydrothermal (Vein) hosted gold. Broad experience gained with a geochemical slant from my UCT training in geochemistry.
