- Responsible for the safety of 260 employees including Transportation, Warehouse and Processing employees.- Demonstrated experience in monitoring facilities and processes for adherence to OSHA guidelines by overseeing inspections, recommending corrective measures and preparing for OSHA safety audits and investigations; OSHA audit in August 2016 resulted in 0 findings. - Implemented corporate strategies in the facility, this resulted in 46% reduction in total injuries and 50% reduction in recordable injuries from 2 years ago. Process changes and improvements included the implementation of coach cards, observations, daily safety huddles, and weekly 10 minute safety meetings. - Facilitated and lead Safety Committee Meetings, Steering Committee Meetings, Incident Review Committee for employees at all levels. - Coordinated for the Process Safety Management program, correcting findings from Process Hazard Analysis. - Created Job Hazard Analysis for every position in Transportation, Warehouse and Processing.- Conducted training on all OSHA mandated programs, including AWAIR training, Sysco specific trainings including License to Lift, Forklift Training, DOT and Defensive Driving for all existing employees and New Hires.
