Learning MentorCounthill High School Sep 2002 - Sep 2005Oldham, United KingdomI worked in a Secondary School as a mentor to 15 and 16 year old boys and girls. I would arrange one to one meetings with the pupils to listen to any issues they had which caused a barrier to learning. These barriers varied including self-harming, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, parental issues at home, low self-esteem, no confidence, anger management, personality clashes with teachers.
