In this job I am accountable for the successful implementation and delivery of new payroll software for my clients. This could be for clients of 100 employees or less right up to large companies of over 100 employees. My main role is to oversee and manage the project implementing a client's new payroll software with ADP, sometimes working with a large number of consultants in specialist areas ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all work packages and products, sometimes working with a smaller team and delivering the products myself.As well as this part of my role I am involved in a number of Business Process Improvement projects, whether it be managing a work package or delivering quality products.I work with clients from all over the UK as well as some in offices across the world, this involves travelling to clients at their places of business and chairing conference calls as well as maintaining good channels of communication.

 I came into this job role through ADP’s Training Academy, which I started in March 2013; I have been in my managed service team since May 2013.I work in one of the managed service teams running and managing the payrolls for large clients that outsource their payroll to ADP. I am responsible for processing around 7000 pay slips every month working against KPIs to deliver world-class service to our clients. I have a wide range of skills and experience in tax calculation; statutory legislation (P45s, P60s, SSP,SMP etc) ; Attachment orders; also skills in Microsoft office software such as Excel. On top of this I also have 2 years experience of working with ADPFreedom and HR.net.

 In this job role, I manage a permanent team of two full time lifeguards and a Team Leader; on top of this I also manage all of the casual staff on shift with me. My responsibilities include health and safety and performance monitoring; evaluating and updating risk assessments; training of other staff; and day-to-day management of the leisure complex.

 As well as the duties required of me as a lifeguard, this position gives me the responsibility of organising and supervising the team of lifeguards on shift with me, completing pool chemical tests and assisting the Duty Manager where he/she needs it. I am also trained as a Duty Manager as it is my responsibility to step up to the position when the Duty Manager is absent. This means I have to run the centre as well as assisting other departments e.g. Sales. I am also responsible for checking and ordering all the first aid equipment for the centre.
