Ian has held a number of senior leadership roles at Board level during an international career spanning nearly four decades. For most of Ian’s 23 years at HSBC he was Global Head of Fund services and responsible for Product strategy, management and development including Alternatives, Asset Managers, Insurers, Investor Services and Global Custody. Throughout his career Ian has had extensive engagement with the investment management consulting and software community including domestic providers as well as international companies. He has sponsored the purchase and implementation of a large number of platforms for front, middle and back office including data delivery and client experience. Ian is now strategic adviser to Suisse Tech Partners (STP) and leads their London office. STP was established by Industry expert, Van Ta as the next generation front to back data platform for asset owners and managers. The platform, PMplus, is a fully customizable, cloud native solution for Private and Public Assets in one single platform. It is SAAS based and can be used both as a modular solution or end-to-end, with multi-language reporting functionality. The company was founded in Switzerland with clients across Europe and Asia.
