The work I completed for my clients consistently brought in increased organic search traffic, often right alongside increased transactions and revenue from that source. For my content marketing clients, I primarily wrote blog posts, travel guides, and intro copy for vacation rental taxonomy pages. I also updated homepages for my clients' websites with optimized copy and eye-catching visuals, and I updated event feeds of the sites that had them.For my SEO clients, I reviewed and updated all pages on client websites for search engine optimization. This included writing meta descriptions, writing alt text for images, implementing keyword optimizations in copy, adding relevant header tags, and submitting pages to Google Search Console for indexing. I researched topics, wrote scripts, shot a-roll and b-roll, edited videos, and published videos to the company's YouTube channel and website. These video projects ranged from trip promos to travel guide videos on Mild to Wild's areas of operation.On several occasions, I managed multi-day shoots in remote wilderness areas of Colorado and Utah on Mild to Wild's extended rafting trips. For these shoots, I had to coordinate with the river guides and other marketing personnel on how best to capture footage of rafts going through river rapids sections. I also protected and managed all camera equipment throughout these multi-day river trips. On some trips, I also supervised another marketer as we worked together to shoot photos and videos.Outside of video production work, my other main function was managing Facebook and Instagram social media accounts for Mild to Wild. This involved creating posting calendars for each month, scheduling unique daily posts in advance for the week, regularly conducting research for trends and hashtags, and creating annual analytics and competitor social media reports.Lastly, I was responsible for maintaining Mild to Wild's brand voice across the website, social channels, and email campaigns. I interned for Rocky Mountain PBS from January-December 2019, and I worked on three full-length episodes of the documentary series, Colorado Experience, during that time. For the most recent episode, set to air in November of this year, I worked as a production assistant and camera operator on a shoot in Creede, Colorado. For the second episode, titled "Press of the West" and set to air on April 16, 2020, I served as the lead script writer, conducted historical and archival media research, and scouted locations for interview shoots. For the final episode, titled "Ben Nighthorse Campbell" and released in April of this year, I edited the script, conducted archival media research, and edited using Final Cut Pro X.

I routinely published social media posts to promote the student-organized literary magazine, Images, on Facebook and Instagram. I also created and advertised fundraising events for the magazine on Facebook.

Guided rafting tours down the Animas river in Durango, CO through classes 1-3 level rapids. In addition to steering the rafts, I provided some historical and current information about Durango on tours. I also worked in the company's information booth to answer phones and book tour reservations.
