Responsible for the management and implementation of small and large projects overseas. Working for NG Bailey on behalf of Fujitsu Service on a large communications project. Managing teams of Service partners, NG Bailey employees and third party suppliers. Implementing good project management practices in line with PRINCE 2, SIGMA and APMP. Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Lead team in the testing and certification of all IT and Telecommunication and Network cabinets for both the Service Schools and MOD networks overseas including Northwest Europe, Cyprus and the South Atlantic.Succesfully delivered the project ahead af schedule and within the £3 Million budget both in North West Europe and Cyprus. Currently working as the Technical Lead and chief auditor on the project through out the UK.

Maintaince and repair of cryptographic material in supportof Military IT networksSet up and maintaince of Video Conferencing Lead on many projects.

Direct new installations of Top Secret secure networks for customers including theMinistry of Defence and NATO. Develop initial proposals for customers, test and maintainnetworks, and certify systems as electrically safe. Work directly with customers toschedule electrical testing, coordinate incident resolution, and obtain sign offs on majormaintenance work and updates. Highlights & Achievements:· Developed and implemented a proposal to combine 6 insecure IT networks into 2 securesafes protected by complex combination locks, saving the client more than £15,000 inoverhead while boosting company profits by £10,000.· Led the team that tested and certified electrically safe more than 2000 IT andtelecommunications cabinets, generating more than £1.2 million in revenues.

Project Manger for all telecomunications cable work completed for the British forces in North West Europe. Oder all, take delivery of and insure sign off for all bearers enabling all voice and IT networks to function in Germany.

Managed maintenance and installation of all telephone and IT cable throughout Ministry ofDefence buildings, working directly with both internal suppliers and third party vendorsto ensure that all communication functioned at the highest possible level of efficiency.Ordered new circuits from third party vendors including major telecom companies locatedthroughout Europe, acted as first point of contact for all Bearer system and IT bandwidthfor a large NATO Headquarters, and saved the Ministry as much as £300,000 by discoveringand eliminating unused circuits.Highlights & Achievements:· Saved the Ministry more than €180,000 by successfully designing and leading the projectto expand the telephone capacity in the main building on the Ministry site, coordinatingthe activities of an internal supplier and building services manager to deliver theproject for only €20,000, or just one-tenth of the price quoted by Deutsch Telecom.· Ensured all connections between internal suppliers and Deutsch Telecom worked properlyin advance of an upcoming inspection by NATO Auditors, facilitating the Ministry's abilityto pass the inspection with flying colours and carry out its mission to providecommunications for NATO troops stationed in in Afghanistan.· Invited to attend high-profile meetings held at NATO Headquarters, providinginformation about all communications within NATO HQ and taking the lead on solving complexchallenges with delivery partners.

Technical Maintenance TroopOversaw the maintenance program for 120 communication vehicles and more than 1000 radio /IT network devices and telephones located at NATO Headquarters, ensuring each piece ofequipment functioned effectively up to and including OSI layer 3. Trained and supervised70 technicians, managing all aspects of team productivity and scheduling, and developedworkplace processes and procedures designed to increase team functionality while keepingcosts in check. Coordinated maintenance programs designed to ensure all systems werecorrectly configured and that reported incidences were quickly driven to a satisfactoryconclusion.Highlights & Achievements:· Led the team charged with building 14 bandwidth management nodes, each containing avideo conferencing suite and PBX, successfully delivering all aspects of the £12 millionproject on time and on budget.· Built a reputation as a highly knowledgeable and competent network manager capable ofdeveloping effective systems and leading productive teams, earning several promotions andexcellent staff reports.
