AlloyCoin is an asset backed cryptocurrency currently pending its initial coin offering. My role included django web development, web design, and simulation-based competition analysis. The website is currently under development and is targeted at cyptocurrency developers, investors, and newcomers. The site aims to provide extensive information on current crypto-technologies and act as a database of financial information using current and historic prices. The project is currently under development and involves weekly web-meetings to provide progress updates and discuss project goals. Additionally, we utilized Slack to share resources and ensure project members can easily communicate.

My focus was primarily on solving an equation using both analytical and numerical methods to create a point of comparison to the diffusion of optical excitation through a highly-ordered crystal. In order to better understand the research being done, I applied my technical writing skills to assist in reviewing a doctoral thesis and publications. Eventually, it became clear there was no easily solvable analytic solution and computational attempts at a numerical solution were divergent. Eventually, I designed and developed a Monte-Carlo simulation and created a point of comparison to the specific experiment conducted that can also be applied to a wider range of experimental configurations.Additionally, I provided solutions for data collection, data analysis, and interfacing with hardware to enhance the procedure for various experiments in the laboratory.

I experienced all phases of development including meeting with clients, designing relational databases, reporting updates to a project manager, facilitating progress meetings, and maintaining completed projects. I managed and recorded my progress through use of the waterfall development model.
