I am a Project Director and Head of Profession for Project Management across all operating groups within the business. In this role I have responsibility for all aspects of project assurance, governance and the wider professional development of the project management community of practice which I have established and achieved Corporate Accreditation for Mouchel Consulting through the APM. I have contributed to Specialist Information Groups in project management and influenced the creation of the APM’s revised Competency Framework which now forms the basis for project management competency reviews at all levels within the business. I also have a keen interest in health and safety which I proactively promote within my area of influence in the organisation. Project management in Mouchel is recognised as being fundamental to the success of all project delivery from inception through to completion and aftercare through the application of sound governance and the management and understanding of such key competencies as Risk Management, Change Control, Scheduling and Stakeholder Engagement.In this role, I was responsible for the control of cost, quality and scheduling of performance and governance both within the team and reporting through to Highways England’s Major Projects Project Management Team.
