The Granada history project focuses on the Mansfield Granada cinema that used to be located on West Gate in the town. I have been collecting information about the building for a number of years and set up a website dedicated to it's memory during lockdown. I was also able to hold a special exhibition about it's story marking 50 years since it's closure, thanks to Mansfield Museum, in the spring of 2023.

Key achievements: - Produced nominations for the Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards and shortlisted two years in a row in the Small Station of the Year category. - Presented on stage at large community events such as the Ashfield Show, the Mansfield Xmas Lights Switch On & Party In The Market which includes entertaining the crowd, interviewing high profile guests and increasing brand awareness of the station. - Initiated and developed social media presence for the station and maintain Facebook and Twitter accounts on a regular basis to engage with listeners and promote the station - Involvement in producing a number of talk and news based shows at the station - booking guests, devising running orders and assisting the presenters to ensure the show runs smoothly.Responsibilities: presenting the afternoon show Monday to Friday from 1 -6pm. The show targets the 25-55 year old segment and covers a potential audience TSA of 250,000 in Mansfield, Ashfield and Bolsover. The show is interactive with a number of special features and also includes competitions, interviews and live links to outside broadcasts.Managing Editor/Programme Controller: operational manager for the station which includes day to day management, line manager of the presenters, scheduling, writing reports for Rajar and the roles of head of music and head of news. Work with external organisations for large events and sponsorship opportunities including sitting on the Christmas lights committee. Have an active involvement with forward planning and the strategic direction of the station.

Managed a busy news room as well as presenting and producing news bulletins. Also presented and produced the 'Nightly News Hour' programme with the news team which focused on local issues.
