As a freelance Director, I've been using new techniques & technologies to push the limits of what's possible since I began working in the media industry in 2001.I began my directing journey in documentaries for the likes of Discovery Channel & the National Geographic Channel. But my passion & current specialisation is directing commercials and narrative work.In a previous life, while I was a Managing Director at Widescreen Media Pte Ltd, I supervised post-production for broadcast programmes & feature films. I also helped spearhead Stereoscopic 3D production in Asia. As part of my job scope at Widescreen, I developed bespoke workflows for 2D & S3D production and post-production. This required me to find high-quality yet cost-effective ways to lead products all the way from prep to final delivery on the cinema screen. This is a benefit I continue to bring to every project I direct today – creative fervour augmented with technical acumen.I also like to take experiences learnt on the ground and develop them into talks, courses & classes.
