As well as being a Full time Lecturer at UCLan I am the owner of 'The Way to Be Coaching' , qualified to Masters level (Dist), in Executive Coaching and Mentoring, PgCap, & FHEA.Initially, training in the Hospitality sector gaining an HND in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management, I went on to complete a thirty-year career in the Police Service and following that studied at The University of Cumbria. I firmly believe in the need for sustainable business practice and base my work on the love of and appreciation for our shared environment. My ambition is to embed the principles and practice of Coaching and Mentoring into the PEQF and the Policing structure. I can help management teams and individuals, up to and including senior level, embed coaching cultures and develop mentoring schemes.I do not apply generic coaching 'solutions'! My coaching interventions result in the potential of the individual and team being better realised, the quality of decisions taken are improved, communication is enhanced and wellbeing and resilience are promoted.
