The management of Operations and Production for Scotland’s Bravest Manufacturing Company.SBMC is a social enterprise and as part of Royal British Legion Industries we provide employment and training opportunities for military veterans and others with disabilities. These development opportunities take place within our research & manufacturing, signage production, experimental & precision materials cutting, print, graphics and distribution facility in Erskine.

Responsible for the oversight and control of client documentation and related functions.Also, the management of output activity and provide a strategic design direction for the creation of client documentation.Leading the requirements gathering for new and revised documentation and the creation, maintenance and ownership of the appropriate control documents for each of the management companies.

Operations and Business Manager with responsibility for Leeds City Council's print, signs, mailing and document production facilities.This included operational and budgetary management of a traded service that supported the print, mail and signage requirements of all the directorates within the authority and external client networks.As a solutions and facilities service my operations remit oversaw project management, design, print, document production, booklet making, print finishing, mailing fulfilment, display graphics, posters, banners and signage solutions.The facility was one of the first in the UK to be accredited to BS EN 12899 in the printing, manufacture and installation of traffic signage. I am proud to have managed such a specialised unit, in which the highest of standards in manufacturing and sustainability were maintained.

Project Manager within print, mail and fulfilment.Particular strengths lie within the implementation of continuous improvement, production processes, planning, analysis, operations and production management.

Commissioned to manage the development of production processes and procedures in order to successfully fulfil auditory and compliance requirements. This included the expansion and implemenation of manufacturing controls within an ISO and CoC doorset design and manufacturing organisation. Also, directed systematic improvements in scheduling and resource planning throughout all areas of the production facility.
