▷ Architect and technical Lead: Final Manufacturing System Test (MST): ⚙ Designed and implemented an end-to-end testing solution to validate all 8 inter-dependent product subsystems of the first color production capable 3D printer. It utilized a customer representative method to ensure manufacturing or design defects were caught before the unit ships. ⚙ Invented and executed a framework to analyze data collected during runtime printing operations and automatically report on design margin issues. System was a key enabler for both manufacturing and R&D development.⚙ Led multi-disciplined team in Singapore to quickly troubleshoot and repair all failures uncovered during tests. Provided design solutions to teams, managed escalations, and released daily progress updates back to management teams.⚙ Prevented over a $1M worth of service visits over the first year of operation.▷ Team Lead: R&D Field Escalation Task Force ⚙ Led a multi-discipline 20 person team of R&D engineers to work with Customer Assurance and field escalation team on issues arising from customers and technicians. ⚙ Managed caseload and priorities through daily meetings and individual break-out sessions.⚙ Performed root cause analysis using data from the individual machine and customer observations and provided action plans to field service techs to quickly repair the unit.⚙ Addressed any shortcomings in existing documentation to avoid future escalations.

⚙ Led a multitude of cross functional task forces to deliver on 5 programs; each one targeting a different customer segment and various overlapping requirements. ⚙ Delivered on cost reductions, new customer features, and higher performance through various hardware and algorithm changes. ⚙ Developed and led prototype build and test strategies for global production on 3 programs. ⚙ Defined and drove build phase objectives for each to quickly highlight reliability and design margin issues prior to final production.⚙Implemented firmware algorithms for embedded control systems to move a paper path drive system of 6 motors, 4 sensors, and a 100℃ heated pressure roller to reliably print, collate, and staple at 75 pages-per-minute. ⚙Designed, fabricated, and tested concepts for product reliability improvements.⚙Led teams through loss function testing activities to understand the design margin limitations of their system. Provided design change suggestions that would be more robust to a wider range of manufacturing variation and customer situations.⚙Earned the trust and respect of lead engineers and management teams and became one of the most significant driving forces in the lab.

⚙ Implemented design changes on 45 parts including plastic injection molding, sheet-metal, die-cast, and wire-routing for a paper-path subsystem. Created drawing with appropriate GD&T specifications and worked with the manufacturing team to bring to production.⚙ Designed, fabricated, and assembled multiple fixtures and end of line test tools
