I graduated with a BSc “Biotechnology with Enterprise” degree at the University of Leeds. I have been named on the Dean's List published for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic year. I was also granted Dean’s Excellence Scholarships for 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023 years of study. My final year project was practical, consisted of the identification of functional units in long non-coding RNAs and was supervised by Dr Julie Aspden. The project involved a complete process of CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing of human neuronal cells and genotyping. While studying at the university, I developed a manufacturing technology for repeatable, quick and cheap production of microneedle vaccine patches. For the progress in the latter, we (I and Henry Dunne) received “The University of Leeds Enterprise Scholarship”. Currently, I'm continuing to develop our start-up "Microneedle Solutions Ltd" which focuses on the development, manufacturing and distribution of microneedle patches.
