I have been in the teaching profession for ten years now, and it afforded me a vast amount of knowledge in classroom management, various teaching approaches, and language teaching and learning to mention a few.As a secondary school teacher at multiple grade levels both in university and public school system, I have adapted myself in several settings with diverse student populations, including both the fast and slow learners. Furthermore, with a strong background in principles of teaching, I bring a true understanding of the many factors affecting the education of children, including their continuous adjustment in classroom since CoVid happened.A positive and motivated teacher, I am committed to providing students with a dynamic and interesting learning environment in which they can grow and develop; and with tons of professional development training I’ve attended both here in the Philippines and abroad, I am familiar with the latest trends in education, and I thrive on keeping on top of the latest resources and developments within the teaching industry. A firm believer that learning does not happen in classrooms alone, I also encourage students to enjoy extra-curricular activities and study groups, which I believe instils them with self-directed lifelong learning. While teaching at Southern Luzon State University Laboratory Schools and Quezon National High School, I played an essential role in developing students’ critical thinking while fostering camaraderie and enriching learning experiences as the chief adviser of the student publication.
