As co-founder and Technical Officer of Launchvox, I have the privilege of working with passionate artists and developers to produce the remarkable digital content every day. Every customer brings interesting challenges and objectives to the table; my role is to remove the technical barriers that pop up so that the creative team can meet customer objectives. My career history took a few entertaining turns before ultimately landing on this remarkable venture with Launchvox. I trained rigorously in 3D artwork during my college-years, spent a brief amount of time as a digital animator, and developed most of my current proficiencies while leading the way in XR development division in a studio with my fellow Launchvox co-founders. I’ve dabbled in just about every type programming imaginable: websites, game engines, databases, etc. Just about anything is possible when you know the right tools for the job. The most exciting part of the day for me is looking at how many strides are being made in digital and interactive toolkits. Things that were only possible for the largest studios in the past can now be accomplished with relative ease thanks to the advancements in AI, rendering, and interactive SDKs.
