About Ian Bevel

I am a full stack developer with Hubb, a company in Vancouver, WA that specializes in developing software revolving around the event industry. I started with Hubb in February, 2016 as a QA Engineer and was quickly promoted to a developer position, my current position. As a developer at Hubb I have been fortunate enough to be exposed to numerous development stacks with a group of great people, allowing me to learn from senior developers, as well as improve my skills helping my less senior peers. Prior to working at Hubb, I was an intern with two companies in the Portland area, SBI Team and JustFor/Copious. Before delving into the technology industry, I worked for the American Red Cross at one of their National Testing Laboratories. At the Red Cross, I honed my critical thinking and problem solving skills while developing a passion for process improvement. I am excited at the prospect of a career in which I am able to solve complex problems as a primary responsibility. The convergence of the coding, improved teamwork and communication skills gained at Epicodus, and the problem solving, process improvement and critical thinking skills developed while at the Red Cross combine to make me an ideal candidate for a career in software development.
