Responsible for GFI’s upcoming product GFI OneGuard - a software solution originated and developed with the one concept in mind - to give IT administrators’ insight into the security of the PCs in their network. This product includes various modules such as Antivirus, Patch Management and peripheral device management. Manage product managers by supervising plans and executions throughout the product lifecycle of two key GFI Software solutions: GFI Archiver (formerly GFI MailArchiver) and GFI MailEssentials. Other tasks include being involved with deals in the products’ commercial aspects including price modelling and price markups, dealing with 3rd party OEM technologies, negotiating the contracts and royalties.Scrum is the agile methodology used within GFI, therefore as a product manager I was responsible for creating the user stories and prioritizing them. As product owner I also attended the daily scrum ceremonies like story grooming, daily scrum, sprint/release planning and retrospect.
