Conducted research in the St. Croix River looking at the relationship between endangered winged mapleleaf freshwater mussels and fish. Performed scuba diving in a river environment that has one foot visibility, current, and cold water. Duties included collecting and identifying native mussels, setting up aggregation lines and cameras underwater, and tether diving. Used computer software on the surface to record video; required setting up of generator and elgato streaming device.From late November to early January, work entailed looking at video recordings from field work. Roughly 15 hours total during this period.
