Alternative Investment Management Executive targeting high quality projects with strong risk adjusted returns. Previously, first on the ground and started the APAC Equities rebuild at Barclays Investment Bank in 2018, after it was just shuttered in 2016. Formulated business plan, restarted and grew a profitable and regulatory compliant electronic equities business. Developed client base and product, set up procedures and built team. Selected and mentored FinTech start-ups as part of a corporate initiative.Launched a SoftBank backed social network startup in 2000, 4 years before Facebook, which was acquired by QS in 2001. In 2018, founded his own IPO/ECM platform, and same year also cofounded a US Treasuries tokenisation project (ie. 3% 10yr yield then to compete with Tether, and potentially Ant’s Yu’e Bao). Extensive project management and consultancy experience. Also had a junior role in M&A, IPO/ECM, and IR (Investor Relations) with Schroders Investment Bank (pre Citi acquisition).
