This have allowed me to expand my horizon and perspective in both idea generation and usage of data is various manner to fulfill objective set by the client.3) Speaking Engagement. On the side, I have been provided task and initiative to train others in understanding data analytics to share my knowledge. This not only allowed me to review my own capacity but also pushed me forward to review and learn new platforms in the industry.

So from advertising I have decided to dive into the world of analytics, where I was hired with the following tasks:1) Conducting a daily sentiment analysis. The main bulk of my job description revolves around going through social media data on specific topics to develop daily sentiment report. The task allowed me to form specific insights into the particular topic of discussion. It also provided simple behavioral insights into different social media platforms.2) Biannually social media analytics report. The time of the year where opportunities to deep dive into the compiled data to discover and learn insights of different issues and topics where it could be put into practical use.3) Experimenting with AWS Machine Learning. An opportunity provided by the company to learn and try to develop a simple machine learning application where it's exciting to dive into the world of essentially mathematics. It is fun and exciting to see the potential of its application in various situations and environment.
Account Servicing Executive
After my internship period with Y&R Malaysia I was offered a position as an account servicing executive, where it proved to me the difference in weight and responsibility carried in comparison to an intern. As an executive my task were as followed:1) Servicing clients on campaigns and ad-hoc projects. Instead of the small tasks being assigned as an intern, the task given by the clients at this point of time required more fore-thought and understanding of the client's goal. In addition to managing expectations, research of products and understanding of the competitive landscape was a must in conveying the clients' request to the creative and production teams.2) Multi-layered timeline development. With multiple clients development of timelines becomes extremely essential where management of pace of work to prevent clashing works. It allowed me to overview processes as a whole instead of segments which further improves overall the time and expectation management.3) Creative brainstorms. A wonderful opportunity granted by the creative team to assist and provide ideas in developing projects to engage with existing clients and potential clients with the objective to catch creative awards. It not only expand my mindset of what a creative work should be but instead of what it can be, at the same time it creates an understanding of the importance of my job as servicing to help convey the clients' vision to achieve amazing creative works.
Account Servicing Intern
A déjà vu period, where I had just finished my final assignment for the Communications and Media Management Degree course, I had applied for another advertising agency where I had been accepted as an intern for Y&R Malaysia. The main difference as an intern compared to my time before are:1) Servicing multiple clients on items and campaigns. The task was to communicate with multiple clients of different brands in conveying their request, direction and changes to the creative and production team, which unlike before had me understanding and adapting my communication style to client in managing their expectations and achieving the desirable results of the campaign and projects.2) Preparation of pitch proposals. As a brand intern dubbed by our supervisors were task with the following:1) Servicing the client on minor items and projects. Where the focus of the job at hand was mainly to communicate the purpose, direction or amendments from the client to the creative and production teams to achieve the desirable outcome. 2) Conduct a brand competitive analysis for our respective client. Analysis of monthly brand campaigns and price comparison of products served as an alert system and overview of performance between the client and its competitors.3) Development of timelines. Its purpose was to prepare and set the pace of the development of the project or task which contributes significantly into managing the expectations of the client, internal creative and production teams.
