Developing close links with customers to understand briefs, suggest alternatives and project manage the entire process including procurement of all requirements from trusted suppliers.

Selling commercial print for both 16pp web offset and B1 cutstar. Built up substantial turnover within a few years forming excellent customer relationships along the way.

Joined just as Garnett Dickinson bought Acorn Web as Sales Director to run both sales teams. Two very different business models which never fully integrated as could be seen when both parted company a few years later.

Ran the commercial sales team selling coldset newsprint at sites around the UK and flexo newsprint at their state of the art site in Didcot until redundancy and the sales team was disbanded.

Primarily selling web offset into the main site at Corby until the business unfortunately fell into administration.

Sold commercial print for all web offset and gravure plants within the group, Sales Director for the Southern Sales Team. Excellent opportunity to work with a lot of skilled people and gain a great understanding of a wide range of kit.
