After seeing the opportunities available he began his involvement in the asset class full time in 2001 with one of the largest open ended funds of its kind at the time. During his time at the firm Ian was involved in the affairs for some of the largest public companies in Australia including CSR, Nylex, McIlwraith Davey, Theiss Constructions, Mitre 10, Walter Reid and many others. His career with the company encompassed all facets of professional practice including audit, management accounting and advice, taxation and insolvency. Joining the firm in 1957 as an audit clerk and finally retiring from the Organisation in August 1993 having served as managing partner, Queensland and on the firm's national management committee for four years..
