About Ian Cross

Ian is a creative entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience growing and managing start-ups in technology, entertainment and hospitality. He is co-founder of I-SITE – an award-winning Interactive Design and Technology firm specializing in web and mobile solutions for downtown districts, community builders, real estate and nonprofits. Ian led the company from a start-up to a firm with notable clients that include Times Square Alliance, William Penn Foundation, Brandywine Realty Trust, Downtown Alliance for New York and UNESCO. He has served on the boards of a number of for profit and non profit entities including The Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians and British American Business Council. He served as a Director of Icelandic animation firm CAOZ from 2002-2009. In 2011 CAOZ released their first full-length feature animated movie Thor: The Legends of Valhalla.Ian co-founded the Philadelphia Area New Media Association [PANMA], was a co-founder of TEDxPhilly in 2010 and is active as a consultant and participant in creative economy initiatives that promote the Philadelphia region for business. He served on former Philadelphia Mayor Nutter's Council of Arts and Culture as Chair of the Creative Economy Committee and is currently on Mayor Kenney's Council. He also served on the DesignPhiladelphia Advisory Team from 2010 to 2012.Ian is a former partner in data sonification pioneers Data Garden and the owner of bar/entertainment venue The Trestle Inn, Philadelphia's home to whiskey and mod Go Go.
