My ambition is to use my extensive leadership and management experience to support organisations and individuals in the pursuit of excellenceI have over 30 years of experience working within the pharmaceutical industry undertaking marketing and senior management roles within the UK and Europe all of which have enabled me to improve my strategic thinking and build upon my strengths of commercial and business acumen.I have through my pharmaceutical and life experiences attempted to dismiss the myth that being ‘patient centric’ is the mantra for success but moreover having the attitude of being ‘people focused’ in everything we do is a more socially and business aware position to adopt.From June 2014 I started the journey as an Independent Consultant, working with Teva as Oncology European Marketing Manager, based in their EU headquarters in Amsterdam. In April 2015 I transitioned to be a full-time permanent member of the team as Director and then as a Senior Director responsible for Corporate Brand Strategy across Europe and Canada.In August 2017 I returned to being an Independent Consultant supporting Servier Laboratois based for 18 months at their global headquarters in Sureness, Paris. From July 2019 to January 2021 I worked as Commercial Lead and then Cluster GM for Kyowa Kirin Pharmaceuticals covering the majority of CEE, based in Prague.I then worked as a consultant supporting ExCeed Orphan to enhance their business development opportunities to work with companies in EU and the USA and bring treatments for rare diseases to the eastern European markets.I have recently worked with Aptitude Health, an organisation that is committed to being the first choice for oncology/haematology life science companies to develop, commercial solutions, clinical and educational programmes with unequalled access to global opinion leaders.For the past 5 years I have mentored 8 senior managers who work within the pharmaceutical industry and global cross-functional agencies across 8 different European countries and the UK. In February 2022 I was appointed as a Trustee on the Board of Directors of a charity that look after the welfare of children, young adults, and families with mental health issues and learning differences.I have an extensive sporting background and have led, captained and been a Board Member at Cricket and Rugby Clubs and most recently in 2019 as a Board Member and Captain of Letchworth Golf Club in Hertfordshire. I have undertaken numerous after dinner and charitable speaking engagements all proceeds from which are donated to a local Hospice.
