New Build Housing, Plumbing Supervisor

Suppling correct and accurate quotations for all plumbing works within the residential new build sector.Calculating all materials and labour requirements, whilst ensuring all specifications are met and delivered throughout the tender process to order placement.Updating supply chain cost changes internally and informing the business of any procurement requirements or foreseen supplier issues.Implementing continued support for any post contract additional works, again pricing and ensuring the on site team progress the works to sign off.Monitoring won orders, producing live data for the owners business plan. Showing profit percentages, best performing customers, quantities of works and resource parameters. Whilst providing instant look up forecasting information.

This is an office based role with some external customer responsibilities.I prepare and issue quotations for tender submittals and review commercial, contractual and technical customer specifications.Its my responsibility to provide support and assistance to the customer providing the correct solution for each individual project. I also deal with the whole sales / design process, from product specification through to material prices and availability. I transfer data from drawings to a solution, generating technical descriptions whilst checking sales orders, credit applications & references plus customer T&C's.As a Technical Applications Engineer it is my responsibility to make any order amendments, should they be required and also resolve any invoice or shipping queries which requires interface with all the groups departments along with customers and suppliers.

This role was for initial contact with Tender/Bid Managers, highlighting any potential off-site benefits that MS+ could offer, thus adding value engineering at this point. I was responsible for producing presentations, incorporating the MS+ benefits, which support each individual bid.I also support Project Teams, at design stage of their contracts, again highlighting the actual off-site scheme that MS+ could offer, many of which are bespoke/innovative solutions to aid in their off-site strategy.Site visits to project teams to advise of off-site benefits and the best processes to be used for each individual project; Advise on the best installation methods; Programming manufacturing slots; Assist in tender presentations; Issuing erection specs; Issue forecast costs; Attend quality meetings; Development of new processes & solutions; Meeting with suppliers; Attend monthly business reviews; Checking RAMS; Attend progress meetings plus liaising with project teams & main contractors prior to work going into manufacture
