Started my own firm - East Devon Law- a Law Firm based in Ottery St Mary in June 2012 and haven't looked back since. East Devon Law LLP became a CILEx Regulated Entity in 2020 and then an SRA Regulated firm of solicitors in 2022. I was delighted to be the winner of the CILEX Legal Expert Private Client Award 2018, and the Devon & Somerset Law Society Chartered Legal Executive of the Year 2019 and Highly Commended Chartered Legal Executive of the Year 2020 and 2023.I was delighted to become a member of the CILEX Professional board in 2020 and a trustee of the CILEX Foundation in 2021 and am passionate about encouraging people from all backgrounds and walks of life into a career in Law via the CILEX route. My position as a trustee of the Foundation means that I can also support the scholarship scheme which is run so that socio-economic diversity in the legal profession can be maintained.In addition to my legal qualifications I also hold a certificate in management services and have varied experience in marketing and promoting small businesses and mentoring new business start ups as well as promoting the work of artists, photographers and authors in the world of motorsports and dealing with advice on literary rights and IP.
