I enjoy a position in a fast-paced environment helping people.I have years of professional, enforcement, technical, and customer service experience from working for government, private, and nonprofit organizations. I gained professional and technical experience working for the City of Des Moines, Iowa Homeland Security, Black & Veatch, the Missouri Department of Transportation, and the City of Alexandria, Virginia. I made strong use of organizational skills working for MidAmerican Energy in their records department. I have years of strong customer service experience from interacting with external and internal parties in my work for the above organizations. My employment at Apple and my volunteer work with the Red Cross have enhanced my ability to provide excellent customer service in situations that require immediacy. Working with the public is the most engaging and fulfilling work I’ve done.I have a Master of Public Administration from Iowa State University (3.84 GPA), and a degree in civil engineering (3.87 GPA) from the University of Iowa.
