Worked with a Graduate student to create nutrient capsules for plants in hydroponic systems using Calcium Peroxide and Magnesium Peroxide. We also organized experiments to test the release rate of the capsules based on the gelatin coating they are in, and how many holes there are in the coating. Additionally, fabricated custom lab parts for the creation of the nutrient capsules.

Throughout my time at Norton Lilly, I worked in the Operations and Ship Management Department.Within these departments, I was mentored and assisted in many communication and management applications such as:• Led communications between captains and port officers to coordinate crew switch, docking, and unloading schedules.• Boarded and collected fuel samples from vessels, while ensuring all captain and crew needs were met.• Analyzed data and reported it back to Canal Authorities and Norton Lilly Superiors.

I worked at Goshen Scout Reservation, at Camp Olmsted to be exact, as a Staff member and a certified lifeguard at the Olmsted waterfront. I taught a variety of merit badges, including lifesaving, swimming, rowing, and kayaking, along with keeping the swimming area safe. I also helped maintain general structural well-being around the camp, helping with several maintenance and upkeeping of the grounds.
