Focus on transitioning those capabilities to Azure native solutions, Azure Monitor, Operations Management Suite (OMS) and Applications Insights.Delivered continuous improvement leveraging the Agile methodology across distributed teams. Effectively able to prioritize and deliver results leveraging cross tam distributed resources across the globe. The service spans monitoring, alerting and patching infrastructure. Collection and reporting of software and hardware inventory leveraged in DPMO activities. System performance data collection, aggregation and reporting utilized for consulting and capacity management. Automation platform responsible for executing on demand self service operations and ongoing infrastructure health and welfare workflows. After successful transition of entire manageability platform ~600 systems to the cloud (IaaS) developed architecture facilitating transition to cloud based (SaaS) management solution. This result is an entirely cloud based solution to manage the Hybrid infrastructure always with focus on security and supportability. Architecture includes centralized Log Analytics, Security Compliance and Performance reporting while providing the flexibility to distribute various other responsibilities including capacity management and security compliance at various levels in the organization. Consulted with numerous fortune 500 customers on our ever changing journey to the cloud. This via both in person meetings as well as remotely facilitated. - Hyper-V- Azure IaaS- System CenterPrimary liaison between the IT department and the Virtual Machine Manager product group. As customer zero for Virtualization Management I played a key role in insuring that the requirements for a rapidly growing enterprise level virtualization infrastructure were met by the product being developed. Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) later re-branded System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM).Ultimate SCVMM deployment managed thousands of geographically distributed hosts and over 30,000 VM's.Managed a project to develop an internal application to automate the deployment of Virtual Machines. This resulted in a improvement of delivery time from days to hours and resulted in a dramatic increase in NSAT and elimination of rework due to errors introduced by manual process and procedures.Engineering team member defining the underlying Virtualization platform as we moved to highly available clustered "Stamps" of capacity. Collected data used to accelerate the physical to virtual migration using The Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit (MAP).Implemented a Physical to Virtual engine leveraging the capabilities in SCVMM that was utilized by the operations teams to migrate workloads at scale to the private cloud.

- Hyper-V- System Center Virtual Machine ManagerChosen for the engineering team to lead the pilot deployment of the newly acquired technology Virtual Server 2005 (re-branded Hyper-V in 2008). Deployed first on premises server farm to host what would later be called a private cloud. Rapidly grew the utility from an initial pilot deployment of 5 servers to well over 1000 virtualization hosts. This Virtual Server Utility offering within Microsoft grew the virtualization footprint over the course of 4 years from 2% Virtualization within the Corporate Data Centers to over 30%.

- Windows Server- System Center Operations Manager- NetIQ AppManagerOn-boarded Event based monitoring leveraging Mission Control's product Sentry as well as deployment and management of NetIQ Appmanager (licensed by Microsoft as Operations Manager MOM and later SCOM). These tools were the basis for the entirety of the systems monitoring and alerting across enterprise data centers.During this time I was responsible for the oversight of the vendor resources that were onsite from the the two respective companies.
