I am passionate about maintaining accuracy in the presentation of information and have a meticulous attention to detail. Well organised, with good communication skills, I strive to enhance the written word for clarity of purpose and message. Most recently I provided strategic leadership in the implementation of the Nursing and Midwifery Council quality assurance framework, further developing key skills in collaborative working with internal and external stakeholder groups and management of information reporting. A key element of my role related to ensuring reports were in a publishable standard, aligned to a specific style guide. This enabled me to enhance my skills in proofreading and copyediting.As a registered nurse I have gained experience in both clinical and higher education settings in the UK, operating at a strategic and operational level. Much of my career experience relates to quality assurance, enhancement and continuous improvement in higher education programmes delivered at undergraduate and postgraduate level. I have expertise in working with professional, statutory and regulatory bodies to ensure robust implementation and ongoing monitoring of regulatory standards.
