About Ian Fisk

Always looking for early-stage, for-profit, mission-driven entrepreneurs to connect to the Mentor Capital Network's global mentor network. Any excellent new companies in your circles that we can help? I'd be grateful if you could send them here: http://mentorcapitalnet.org/home/entrepreneurs/For the past twenty years, my main job has been to listen to someone describe an difficult social, environmental, and/or financial challenge, and then build the best team to advise or mentor those who will solve that challenge. At the start of my career I was expected to find the best person in DC, then the USA, and now it's the world -- I've worked with experts in more than 90 countries. My particular interest and expertise is diversity of perspective -- different skills and experience so nothing gets missed. I’m passionate about working with for-profit social entrepreneurs – while all kinds of service bring value to the world, for-profit social enterprise is the place where I’ve found I’m best able to improve our world.I also teach improvisational comedy and storytelling for entrepreneurs, helping them tell their story "with" their audience, not "at" them. I build things to last -- of the more than a dozen projects, companies, and groups that I've founded or co-founded, most have lasted more than 15 years.

Listed skills include Nonprofits, Social Entrepreneurship, Program Management, Workshop Facilitation, and 5 others.
