I covered the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) for TouringCarTimes, the largest and oldest dedicated touring car resource on the internet. This includes reporting trackside from the races, posting driver interviews; features and reports from practice, qualifying and race sessions.

I was responsible for running the council's corporate social media accounts, primarily Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. I worked on a complete overhaul of the content on Leicester City Council's website, www.leicester.gov.uk, ahead of its relaunch in March 2015. Working as part of a large project team, I applied principles of plain English to all content, cutting out jargon and making all pages more accessible to the council's customers. The role also involved writing and maintaining style guides and good practice advice for staff across the organisation.
