SPECIALTIES: I have special interests in: e-learning, training and their learning management systems and virtual learning environments; corporate digital asset management, e-publications and experiential analytics in advanced learning technology.ORIENTATIONS: My design, programming, and production experience with a variety of types of digital and analog technologies has provided a unique preparation for today's varied computing environments. Training and helping people with appropriate technological initiatives is rewarding to me. I enjoy solving technical problems and all kinds of professional and cultural cooperation.EXPERIENCE: With experience as academic faculty and in Learning Management System and Digital Asset Management industries I can deliver informed and appropriate solutions for IT, Higher-Education and Training. I hold Chartered professional engineering accreditation and have experience as an e-learning creator, instructional designer, learning technology consultant and digital media education consultant.I am a co-inventor of a patented clinical medical informatics system and completed a Ph.D. dissertation in which I developed a novel web usage data mining method aiding clinical user navigation of medical reference libraries. I devised and led a prototype project, the first to connect an e-textbook to xAPI analytics. I devised instructional design and courseware for oil refinery operations while operating a small startup LLC. A contributor to the IEEE Industry Consortium on Learning Engineering (ICICLE) I am also a voting member of the IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee. I worked as subcontractor on the PeBL project for the US Government ADL TLA effort, contributing Actionable Data Book system design (with xAPI experiential analytics) and Cybersecurity instructional design and content development for the prototype.
