I have been involved for over 36 years in the Telecommunications industry and an additional 9 years in the Electrical and Refrigeration Industry. Over the last 25 years I have expanded my experience in the Data Centre environment, designing and working with the major Australian DC owners and System Integrators. My engineering background provides solutions which range from the Generator, UPS and power design and sizing, Crac design and sizing and the DC Network cabling infrastructure from POI to the development and production areas and SAN environment. Conversant with the new challenges of 800GBps, VSFF connectors, AI and on chip cooling solutions. This experience has continued to grow with the vast engineering resources available within HP and previously at ARUP, Fujitsu and Reichle De-Massari (R&M). I tend to think outside the square and apply practical real world experience, together with current standards to ensure a cost effective, yet well engineered solution. This has led me to a position with my clients of mutual respect and an ability to deliver in a professional manner.Various Project Manager and Leadership certificates. IT management. Microsoft MCP, Lighting control engineer with C-Bus, I-Bus and I-Control.I was in an ICT engineering consultancy role at ARUP utilizising the past 23 years of knowledge to add another level of experience and knowledge to my CV, including NSW Health Hospitals adding skillsets such as Nurse Call, RTLS, Paging, PES and A/V integration.I have further diversified into the Audio Visual and video conferencing fields and now hold a role encompassing the use of knowledge in all of my previous fields and emerging trends.After serving as the National Technical Services Manager for 3 Years, I was then promoted to become the Managing Director of Reichle & De-Massari (R&M) Australia and New Zealand to continue the growth of R&M Down Under. I continued to maintain my previous role and as such was responsible for education training to the latest standards for the Installer and Consultant Designer courses Nationally.
