I have been involved for over 36 years in the Telecommunications industry and an additional 9 years in the Electrical and Refrigeration Industry. Over the last 25 years I have expanded my experience in the Data Centre environment, designing and working with the major Australian DC owners and System Integrators. My engineering background provides solutions which range from the Generator, UPS and power design and sizing, Crac design and sizing and the DC Network cabling infrastructure from POI to the development and production areas and SAN environment. Conversant with the new challenges of 800GBps, VSFF connectors, AI and on chip cooling solutions. This experience has continued to grow with the vast engineering resources available within HP and previously at ARUP, Fujitsu and Reichle De-Massari (R&M). I tend to think outside the square and apply practical real world experience, together with current standards to ensure a cost effective, yet well engineered solution. I continued to maintain my previous role and as such was responsible for education training to the latest standards for the Installer and Consultant Designer courses Nationally.
