Managed the SAS reporting and campaign databases strategy. Sharing 20+yrs of SAS knowledge on programming concepts, SAS code and integration techniques to automate delivery to a young inexperienced Analytic Community. Managed the metadata, considered a must by all users. Built semantic layer from Data warehouse to aid the Analytic community to provide faster more accurate results.

The role (English speaking) for this Credit Ratings agency was a business analyst/developer role in a team responsible for developing Segmentation, Scorecard ad hoc development serving major banking clients. Automating through parameter led input where possible. My responsibilities were to lead a small team interacting with clients and IT producing reports and data analysis.

I provided in this English speaking role HTML Dashboards for B2B Clients about service levels and outages. I was a member of a small team responsible for devising, designing, building, testing and delivering the system.

The project involved populating a global Oracle Data Warehouse with data from their four European banks using base SAS and macros to transform and verify the data from local files into Global standard files to be loaded into the Oracle Database. Developed transform scripts and devised Unit test harness for each program. Wrote the appropriate Shell scripts and OPC scheduling references for System testing and User acceptance testing through to Live implementation.

Returned to expand the Data Warehouse provision to General Insurance.

Development of an interim tactical solution to serve Airtours’ management for their Flight, Property and Key performance indicator analysis. Developed using SAS/EIS and Multidimensional Database (MDDB) applications to present information from Oracle databases.
