When I was 13-year-old and living in Australia, I remember listening to Casey Kasem's American top 40 and dreamt of living in the US. Well, my dream came true 22 years ago. It was a tuff road at the beginning as it should be, and I would not change any of my experiences. I was fortunate to get a start in the foods and beverage industry working as an assistant with a personal chef service, prepping, cooking meals, waited tables for corporate and personal events. This really introduced me to the American culture and way of life. A year later I started a position in the healthcare industry which set me on my new chapter in the American dream.
