A proven plastic professional with more than 35 years of experience solving problems and addressing opportunities related to all aspects of the rotational moulding industry.Ian has provided a wide range of assistance to management, engineering & operations staff at rotational moulding manufacturing plants, within Australia and around the globe. After graduating from the University of Auckland, Ian spent his first 15 years in New Zealand working in the raw material supply business, compounding and grinding thermoplastic & thermoset powders. His second 20 years has been in Australia, successfully working as a rotomoulder. Since 2001 he has been primarily involved with rotomoulding above ground water and chemical tanks, as well as underground storage tanks.In 2013 Ian started working as a consultant & troubleshooter to the global rotational moulding community.Ian has been an active member of the Association of Rotational Moulders Australasia over many years. This has included serving as a Board member and working on the Executive, which included his role as ARMA President, and representative on the ARMO Board. In 2016 Ian was inducted into the ARMA 'ICONS of ROTOMOULDING', which recognises leaders of the industry.Ian is passionate about the rotational moulding process and he has developed a global network of friends and colleagues within the rotomoulding community.He has presented to rotational moulding conferences in Australia, Asia, India, Russia, South Africa, United States and Europe, often on the subject of quality and engineering design. He has also written technical articles for the global Rotoworld magazine, as well as articles for the ARMO Rotomoulder magazine.
