I was responsible for recruiting and training new advisors to the Financial Centre in Halifax, NS.

My role as a mortgage specialist was to provide advice to clients on their home financing needs whether it be buying their first house, moving onto their next house or refinancing their current home in order to provide better cash flow. I also worked to expand my network and obtain centres of influence within the community.

I provided financial planning for clients in regards to both their short term and long term goals while also providing risk management for either their business or family.

I was responsible for preparing and delivering presentations on the delivery metrics of the division I worked in while also identifying areas to improve upon.

My responsibilities included developing databases in order to better track costs associated with the underwriting team as well as process invoices and ensure they met the requirements set out by RBC Insurance.
