Following the unexpected departure of the previous development team, I was asked to assist with a project that had regulatory deadlines which risked fines and reputational risk if missed. I developed Shell Scripts, PL/SQL Packages and Management Information reports as well as ensuring the changes were documented which assisted the colleagues in support. Developing ETL routines between a third-party system and the client's Customer Relationship Management application. Using SQL*Loader to load COBOL generated files into staging tables. Creating new and amending existing PL/SQL code to cleanse and then process the incoming data.

Delivered enhancements to an application using server side PL/SQL Packages. Blending the use of both new and existing code, the Packages extracted information from incoming XML documents to enable it's validation against various business rules. The Packages were also used to return information to the client in XML that preserved the sometimes complex format of the data.Refactored an existing interface to introduce loose coupling between the business and presentation logic.
