I cover a wide range of business topics; including property, manufacturing, international trade and both personal and corporate finance. I love writing 'profiles', and my latest - for FC Business magazine in April 2019 - featured Burnley FC's CEO, Dave Baldwin. I enjoy using my experience to tease out the elements which make individuals, and companies, different, by writing content which is fresh and interesting, rather than the stale and hackneyed words we so often see.

Spent 30 months working two days a week for EG in the East and West Midlands, contributing news and features content, and building up both market knowledge and a strong data-base of contacts throughout the region's offices, retail, investment and industrial sectors.

Wrote three broadsheet pages each week, covering all aspects of personal finance from equity investments to pensions, including a very popular Q&A column, and introduced the Money£acts tables to the paper.

As business editor, led a four-strong team covering all major regional sectors; from automotive and manufacturing to property, construction and regeneration.As news editor, led a 70-strong team of journalists, in nine offices, producing ten editions daily, within a 200-strong editorial division, for the paper which was - and is - the largest outside London.
